Productions Coracole to Present New Musical DAISY AND THE WONDER WEEDS, April 19-20

Productions Coracole presents the world premiere of a new musical, Daisy and the Wonder Weeds, just in time for Earth Day. Written by Jean Elliot Manning, the production is directed by Coralie Heiler and Sylvain Millette and will run for three shows only, April 19 and 20, 2013.

Blooming in sprawling Megapolis, somewhere between Oz and Detroit, Flowers faint when Wild Weeds invade their garden. But when they discover Mayor Megamore's plans to pave their garden home, Daisy and Dandelion join forces to fight the bulldozers and together they grow a Wonder Weed that will change the town of Megapolis forever. Meet a talented cast of heroes, villains, flowers, weeds, neighbours and musicians...

For theatregoers of all ages with its cast of fun characters, Daisy and the Wonder Weeds promotes awareness of environmental issues and holds messages of hope, integration, patience, acceptance and personal growth.

Daisy and the Wonder Weeds, presented by Productions Coracole in collaboration with CETM, will run at Théâtre Beaubois, 4901, du Collège-Beaubois, Pierrefonds/Roxboro (minutes from the junction of Hwy 13 and Gouin Blvd), on Friday, April 19 at 8pm, Saturday, April 20 at 3pm and 8pm.
