The Rialto Theatre Foundation presents its third installment of the yearly classic 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens. With nine performances from tonight, December 13th to the 23rd, 2012 at the Rialto Theatre, this family-friendly production is quickly becoming a Montreal holiday tradition.

Built in 1924, the Rialto Theatre has served as a prestigious cultural center for Montreal and the Mile End. Ezio Carosielli, the new owner of the Rialto, has stated "The Rialto Theatre is one of the most iconic buildings of Montreal. Our purchase of this heritage property in March 2010 was made with the full knowledge that we are acting as custodians of The Rialto Theatre for the community at large." This year's production of the holiday classic will inaugurate and be performed in the newly restored Rialto Hall.

Directed by Stephen Vincelli and starring James Milvain as Ebenezer Scrooge, 'A Christmas Carol' is sure to delight audiences of all ages! The stage adaptation faithfully represents the original tale. Throughout the production, 14 traditional Christmas carols (Silent Night, Deck the Halls, etc.) are brought to life. The show will be an amazing experience and feature a versatile cast of 20 performers.
